A handsome evergreen tree, up to 100 ft in height and 12 ft in width. Its flat sprays of foliage resemble those of western red cedar, with cinnamon-colored seed cones that are much longer, up to an inch in length. Its dense, narrow, conical shape and fast growth make it a good evergreen screen or windbreak if planted in rows or drifts. Also good to use as a single specimen tree. More tolerant of drought and cold than western red cedar. Resists pests, tolerates poor soils and fairly dry conditions. Full sun or light shade, well drained soils. Fragrant. Occurs naturally in OR and CA.

$20 for a bundle of 5 bare root plants, 12+ inches
