The San Juan County Master Gardener Foundation exists to support the WSU Master Gardener program of San Juan County.
The funds we raise make it possible for Master Gardeners to carry out their educational mission in the community.
Gardening Q&A tables
Master Gardeners host Gardening Q&A tables April through September on Lopez, Orcas, and San Juan islands. We encourage gardeners to bring us questions about your plant problems and plant or insect identification questions.
If we can't answer your question at the table, we'll take it to one of our monthly diagnostic clinics on Orcas and San Juan, where a larger group of Master Gardeners takes a closer look at problems with microscopes and reference materials. If we can't diagnose your plant problem, we can contact the WSU plant pathology lab to help us solve it.
Please fill out a plant problem form or insect/plant identification form, attach a sample of your plant or insect. Then bring the form with samples to one of the following:
Check back in the spring for a schedule of where to find Q&A tables and clinics.
