Our missionThe San Juan County Master Gardener Foundation exists to support the WSU Master Gardener program of San Juan County.
The funds we raise make it possible for Master Gardeners to carry out their educational mission in the community.

Ask a Master Gardener table locationsSan Juan Island SJI Farmers Market, Saturdays, 9-11am, May through September Orcas Island Orcas Island Public Library entrance April 16, 12pm - 2pm April 26 Earth Day, Emmanuel Episcopal Community Hall May 14, 10am - 12pm May 31, 10am - 12pm Lopez Island Saturdays 1pm - 3pm, Sunset Builders Supply May 17, 24, 31 June 7, 14, 21, 28 Master Gardeners host Ask a Master Gardener tables April through September on Lopez, Orcas, and San Juan islands. We encourage gardeners to bring us questions about your plant problems and plant or insect identification questions.
If we can't answer your question at the table, we'll take it to one of our monthly diagnostic clinics on Orcas and San Juan, where a larger group of Master Gardeners takes a closer look at problems with microscopes and reference materials. If we can't diagnose your plant problem, we can contact the WSU plant pathology lab to help us solve it. Please fill out a plant problem form or insect/plant identification form, attach a sample of your plant or insect. Then bring the form with samples to one of the following:

The Washington State University Extension program for San Juan County provides certified training. You don't have to be an expert gardener to join. Visit the Extension website for details on how to become a certified WSU Master Gardener. |
