Have a Project Ideas? We Are Now Accepting Proposals
The Master Gardener Foundation will do it's 2020 budget in January at the quarterly board meeting. This year the meeting will be on San Juan Island, on January 7th. An agenda announcement will be going out to foundation members by late December..
If you have a project you are interesting in funding in 2020 that furthers the mission of the Foundation, I encourage you to submit project funding proposals prior to the January meeting. This might be funds for a specific speaker who you would like to have give a talk to master gardeners and the public, or a series of speakers. Projects can also be joint efforts with other non-profit organizations or government groups such as schools or parks. The Lopez Heritage Apple Orchard, and the funding for the Orcas School greenhouse are examples of past projects that have used this process.
There is a project funding form to fill out and send to the board and you can download the file below.
Thank you for your participation in raising funds through the Foundation for the Master Gardener Program, and for your thoughtful ideas for how to further the Foundation's mission of education and supporting the Master Gardener Program.
